The Bomber Rig

The Bomber rig is the most favoured 'general purpose' rig in the DVice DV8 range.
The 2 hook design allows the angler to vary baits whilst trying to narrow down what the fish are feeding on. Perhaps some fresh out lugworm on the top hook and a ragworm/squid cocktail on the other. The rig is excellent in hook sizes 4 up to 1 for 'scratching' in most seasons and is well suited to match fisherman that like to present bunches of harbour or white ragworm at distances impossible to achieve with conventional rigs.

If codling and whiting are your preferred quarry in the Autumn/Winter then this is the rig for you. Fished in sizes 1 and above, the rig will happily deal with all but the largest of fish. Always load the baited bottom hook first with this rig to ensure efficient ejection.
The bomber rigs sold on this site are fitted with Kamasan B940 in sizes 4 to 1/0 and with Viking pattern 79515 in sizes 2/0 and above.
