The DV8 Casting capsule

The DV8 capsule has two configurations of grip wires: Breakout and Fixed.

Shown in this picture is a DV8 150g Standard with the Breakout wire configuration.

This type of gripwire setup is the most commonly used. It has excellent ground holding capabilities when set. The gripwires will trip from their holding position when forcefully pulled from the seabed.
